Anna Lee (Williams) Barker was born in Elijah, Missouri, on March 6, 1932, daughter of Roy E. and Alpha Agnes (Hensley) Williams. She departed this life on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at her home in Salem, Arkansas, at the age of 81 years, 11 months and 23 days.
Anna Lee was united in marriage to Roy Lee Barker on March 14, 1950, at Salem, Arkansas. She spent her working years as a homemaker, deputy collector, deputy sheriff and loved doing floral arrangements. She was a member of the Salem Church of Christ and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Anna Lee is survived by husband Roy Barker of Salem, Arkansas; two daughters, Carol Kissinger (Greg) of Glencoe, Arkansas and Jana Tyler (Randy) of Sturkie, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Watson (Jeff) of Waterloo, Illinois, Christina Kissee of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, John Kissee of Highland, Arkansas, Deanna Kissee (Aaron Schales) of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Justin Tyler (Kimberley) of Sturkie, Arkansas, Cory Tyler (Haley Sharp) of Sturkie, Arkansas, Garrett Kissinger of Glencoe, Arkansas, Scott Kissinger of Columbia, Missouri, and Ethan Kissinger of Columbia, Missouri; fourteen great grandchildren;
and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents (Roy Williams, Alpha Morris and J.W. Morris) and two step brothers (Jerome and Bill Morris).
Funeral services will be held at Salem Church of Christ in Salem, Arkansas, at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, with Bro. David Gibson, Bro. Mike Yates and Bro. John Hodges officiating. Interment will be in the Salem Cemetery under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas. Visitation will be Tuesday (6-8 PM) at the Salem Church of Christ. Pallbearers are Bruce Barker, Steve Barker, Neil Barker, Jeff Watson, Cody Cordray, Garrett Kissinger, Luke Barker, Ethan Kissinger and Donnie Lance.
