Nadine Youngblood was born in Woodsboro, Texas, on February 14, 1931, daughter of William Coy and Evalina (Owens) Galbreath. She departed this life Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas, at the age of 82 years, 8 months, and 2 days.
Nadine was united in marriage to Lester Howard Youngblood on December 22, 1947, in San Antonio, Texas. She was a homemaker and attended Salem First Baptist Church. Nadine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her husband, Lester of the home in Salem, Arkansas; one daughter, Wanda Crass and husband, Bob of Rogers, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Michael Allen Jr of Salem, Arkansas, Lynn Magufee and husband, Marvin of Salem, Arkansas, Ronnie Brown and wife, Starla of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Frank Allen and wife, Stephanie of Rogers, Arkansas, Trey Crass of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and Chris Youngblood of Salem, Arkansas, five great grandchildren, Emily, Brad, and Shay Brown, Savannah and Olivia Allen, one sister, Dorothy Pruett of Bonham, Texas; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Connie Zinc and Brenda Ingram; her parents; three brothers, and one sister.
Memorial services will be held at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas, at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 18, 2013, with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Memorials preferred to Fulton County Library. Arrangements by Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
