Margarette Maxine Jarrell

Margarette Maxine Jarrell was born in Waverly, Tennessee, on February 18, 1936, daughter of John Robertson and Irene (Hensley) Crawford. She departed this life on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Southfork River Therapy and Living Center in Salem, Arkansas, at the age of 77 years, 3 months, and 28 days. Margarette honorably served as a military wife for twenty years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Salem. She was employed with Tri County Shirt Company, Little Red Wash House, Oak Manor Nursing Home and as a sales agent with Natchez Trace Realty. Margarette is survived by two daughters, Rita Lynn Havner (A.D. ) of Salem, Arkansas, and Anita Kim May (Charles) of Jefferson City, Missouri; two sons, Tommy Travis Jarrell (Dawn Marie) of Brockwell, Arkansas, and Steven Jon Jarrell (Pamela Cronin) of Buford, Georgia; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jerry Crawford. Funeral services will be held at Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas, at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 20, 2013, with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Interment at Salem Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas, with services under direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 19, 2013, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials preferred to Salem First Baptist Church.
