Dale Andrew Folyer was born in Sandwich, Illinois, on Apil 1, 1948, to Glen and Evelyn Lavonne (Elgin) Folyer. He departed this life on Sunday, February 10, 2013, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas at the age of 64 years, 10 months and 9 days.
He was united in marriage to Darlene Gail Ragland on July 2,1988, in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. Dale served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War earning several medals which include the National Defense Service Medal; Armed Forces Expedetionary Medal (Korea); Expert (Rifle & Pistol) and Good Conduct Medal Clasp Bronze. He was a loving husband, father, son ,brother, grandfather and uncle and enjoyed his time on the road as a truck driver (motor freight) hauling just about everything.
Dale is survived by his wife Darlene Folyer of the home in Franklin, Arkansas; two daughters, Michelle Smith and Janine Rubeck; two sons Tim Folyer and Shawn Folyer; his parents, Glen and Evelyn Folyer; one sister, Sandy Margelofsky and husband Wayne; four grandchildren, Jordan Ward, Madisyn Cornell, Jaiven Smith and Tyler Folyer and two nieces, Shelby and Sheila; other relatives and many friends.
