Nola Katie Thompson, 72, Viola, Arkansas, was born on October 4, 1940, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, daugnhter of Henry Albert and Lola Doris (Jones) Mulherin. She departed this life on January 12, 2013, at Southfork River Therapy and Living Center in Salem, Arkansas.
Nola was united in marriage to Harley Francis Thompson on March 10, 1997, in Salem, Arkansas. She worked as an assembly line worker for Baxter Lab and she was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, Harley Thompson of Viola, Arkansas; two sons, Rory Thompson of Viola, Arkansas, and Miles Thompson of Viola, Arkansas; three daughters, Sherrie Thompson of Paragould, Arkansas, Marie Amberger of Salem, Arkansas, and Wanda Herron of Salem, Arkansas; one brother, Albert Mulherin of Springdale, Arkansas; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
