Joseph Charles Paik, 97, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, was born on July 1, 1915, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son of Joseph and Marie (Kosic) Paik. He departed this life on January 13, 2013, at Southfork River Therapy and Living Center in Salem, Arkansas.
Joseph was united in marriage to Marjorie Pearl Johnson on April 5, 1940, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He worked as a designer/engineer, high level management for a manufacturing company and company comptroller. Joseph was of the Baha’i Faith and served his country in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of the Masons, Board of Directors-Oconomowoc (WI) Hospital and Boy Scouts.
He leaves to mourn his passing: wife, Marjorie Paik of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; two sons, Douglas Paik and wife Haydee of Boca Raton, Florida, and Michael Paik and wife Carolyn of Delafield, Wisconsin; one daughter, Kathleen Ramstack and husband Thomas of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Christopher Olsen of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Carl Olsen of Franklin, Arkansas, Jennifer Paik-Alonso of Coral Springs, Florida, David Paik of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and Michelle Black of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; four great-grandchildren, Malina Olsen of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Eliana Paik of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, Eva and Adrian Alonso of Coral Springs, Florida; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 1:30 PM in the Pioneer Village Club House, Horeshoe Bend, Arkansas.
