Edward Curtis England was born December 22, 1942, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and was carried into God's arms December 23, 2012. He spent 21 years in the Air Force proudly serving his country. While serving, he received many commendations and awards, including two Oak Leaf Clusters. He was a mentor to various young soldiers and touched many lives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow W. England and Edna M. England, his beloved son Woodrow R. England and his beloved granson William E. E. Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Judith England and his daughter and son-in-law Stacey and Gary Curry, six grandchildren, Sean Johnson and Rhiannon Reyes, Heather and Evan Walden, Karen and Clayton Yohn, Deidre and Payden Watson, Derrick England and Cassidy England, seven great-grandchildren and many other relatives. He enjoyed spending time with his family playing trivia games which he almost always won because of his vast store of knowledge.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012, 3:00 PM, at Oxford Baptist Church in Oxford, Arkansas, with Bro. Mike Conyers officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org.
