Elton Few Allen

Elton Few Allen, 84, was born November 24, 1927, in Halifax County, North Carolina son of Gilbert Lamar and Ida Sue (White) Allen. He departed this life November 9, 2012, in Ash Flat, Arkansas, at the age of 84 years, 11 months and 16 days. He was united in marriage on October 16, 1954 in Greensville County, Virginia to Geneva Ann Allen. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith. He leaves to mourn his passing, four sons, Glen Allen of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Roland Allen of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Jimmy Allen of Glencoe, Arkansas and Tony Allen of Evening Shade, Arkansas; two daughters, Debra Windham of Salem, Arkansas and Christy Hawk of Evening Shade, Arkansas; three brothers, Troy, Gilbert and Graham Allen; two sisters, Geraldine Bass and Mildred Pittard; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Geneva; two sons Danny and John; one granddaughter Elizabeth Doherty; parents Gilbert and Ida Allen; one brother Calvin; one sister Audrey and two sons-in-law.
