Angel Dawn Jones

Angel Dawn Jones, 17, of Salem, Arkansas, was born on April 21, 1995, in Springfield, Missouri, daughter of Brian Shawn Jones and Windy Dawn Brooks. She departed this life on November 6, 2012, in Salem, Arkansas, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Angel was a senior at Viola High School in Viola, Arkansas. She leaves to mourn her passing: father, Shawn Jones of Springfield, Missouri; mother Windy Brooks of Franklin, Arkansas; brother, Koty Jones of Mt. Pleasant, Arkansas; maternal grandparents, Billy and Jeanne Brooks of Mt. Pleasant, Arkansas; foster mother, Lee Ellis of Salem, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Emily Lage and paternal grandparents. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012, 10:00 AM, at Salem Assembly of God Church in Salem, Arkansas, with Rev. Kenn DeShane and Rev. Glen Blevins officiating. Interment will be in the Zion Cemetery at Zion, Arkansas, under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 7, 6-8 PM, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Donnie Johnson, Charlie Brooks, Ryan Hayes, Delmas Johnson, Seth Brooks and Blaine Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be her classmates. Memorials preferred to Salem Assembly of God Church in Salem.
