Louise Genevieve Brown

Louise Genevieve (Pemberton) Brown, daughter of Clay and Zella Pemberton was born March 22, 1930 in Vidette, Arkansas. She departed this life at her home in Gepp, Arkansas, November 3, 2012 at the age of 82 years, 7 months and 12 days. Louise was united in marriage to Marcus Duncan Brown on October 30, 1948, in Belvidere, Illinois, and to this union, three children were born, Ronald, Karen and Sharon. She spent her working years as a lab inspector, wife, mother and grandmother. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Louise is survived by two daughters, Karen Stone of Rockford, Illinois and Sharon Johnson and husband Mark of Gepp, Arkansas; two sisters, Alene Bales and Cleta Wallace; five grandchildren, Felicia, Marcus, Amy, Stephanie and Chelsea; five great- grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Marcus, one son Ronald Brown and her parents, Clay and Zella Pemberton. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2012, 6-8 PM at Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem, Arkansas. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
