Robert Brian Armstrong, 21, of Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of Hardy, Arkansas, who was born October 31, 1990, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, son of John Marvin and Gayle Louise (Strayer) Armstrong, entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 27, 2012, while in the company of family members, at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
Brian was employed as a lumper at a Target warehouse. He graduated from Easter Sunrise Academy and earned an associate degree from UACCB. Brian loved aviation and was a member of Christian Tabernacle Church in Hardy, Arkansas.
He is survived by his parents John and Gayle Armstrong of Hardy, Arkansas; one brother, Christopher Armstrong of Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters, Laura Martin and husband Steve of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Amanda Pruitt and husband Teddy of Homer, Louisiana; girlfriend, Elisabeth Moseley of Phoenix, Arizona; maternal grandparents, Bob and Sue Strayer of Flagstaff, Arizona; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dick and Neta Armstrong.
Funeral services will be held at Christian Tabernacle Church in Hardy, Arkansas, at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 3, 2012, with Bro. Jason Jackson officiating. Interment at Eagle's Rest Cemetery in Hardy, Arkansas, under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Friday, November 2, 6-8 PM, in the Christian Tabernacle Fellowship Hall. Pallbearers will be Christopher Armstrong, Teddy Pruitt, Sam Davis, Johnny Jones, Adam Davis, and Ben Garrett.
