Cephus Dee Fowler

Cephus Dee (Junior) Fowler, 83, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, was born on December 27, 1928, in Lynn, Arkansas, son of Aubrey Dee and Ruth (Hooten) Fowler. He departed this life on Sunday, August 19, 2012, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. Cephus was united in marriage to Nancy Linn Fletcher on August 28, 1949, at Columbus, Ohio. He worked as an Insurance Regional Sales Manager before retirement. Cephus was a member of the Agnos Church of Christ in Agnos, Arkansas . He leaves to mourn his passing: wife, Nancy Linn Fowler of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; two sons, Rick Fowler and wife Denise of Myron, Arkansas, and Scott Fowler and wife Cindy of Washington, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Shane Fowler, Kristin Crawford, Stephanie Valenzula and Jason Fowler; eight great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one son, Martin Fowler and his parents. Funeral services will be held at Barker Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, Wednesday, August 22, 2012, 10:00 AM, with Bro. David Gibson officiating. Interment will be in Lancaster Cemetery in Strawberry, Arkansas, at 1:00 PM, August 22nd, under the direction of Barker Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel. Pallbearers will be Donnie Lance, Gary Tyner, Lee Giles, Jim Horton, Dale Godwin and Larry Weatherford. Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Zigwalt, Jack Richardson and Jimmy Harrison.
