Richard Cleo Luke, Jr., 68, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, departed this life on August 7, 2012, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas. He was born on August 7, 1944, in Vero Beach, Florida, son of Richard Cleo and Violet Eveleen (Yates) Luke.
Richard was united in marriage to Sandra (Hilliard) Lynch. He worked as a commerical frogger and fisherman and he was of the Baptist faith.
Richard is survived by two sons, Gain Luke, wife Connie of Hardy, Arkansas, and Rodney Luke, wife Donna of Vero Beach, Florida; step-daughters, Debbie, Tanya and Dana; his mother, Violet Grice of Oxford, Arkansas; seven brothers, John (Mary), Ray (Trish), Joe (Denise), Lee (Linda), Mike, Jack (Susan) and Alfred (Jill); six sisters, Susie, Libby, Judy, Linda (Darrell), Sheila (Jack) and Melanie (Scotty); five grandchildren, Summer, Bradley, Kevin, Jered and Audra; five great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra, father Cleo, brother Ray Morrison and two sisters, Gloria Owens and Cynthia Howell.
Services are private at the convenience of family.
