Monty Dwane McCullough, 53, of Salem, Arkansas, was born on October 28, 1958, in Searcy, Arkansas, son of Haden Dwane and Nina Mae (Pogue) McCullough. He departed this life on July 24, 2012, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas.
Monty was owner/operator of Salem Cable Vision. He was a member of the Salem Church of Christ, Past President of Salem Chamber of Commerce, Past chairman of Fulton County Homecoming Festival and filmed many of the events going on in the community, as well as, at Salem Schools.
He leaves to mourn his passing: daughter, Sydni Madison McCullough of Melbourne, Arkansas; his parents, H. D. and Merlina McCullough of Salem, Arkansas; two brothers, Galen McCullough of Nashville, Tennessee, and Jett McCullough of Salem, Arkansas; two sisters, Libbi McCullough Lee of Nashville, Tennessee, and Stephanie McCullough of Salem, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nina McCullough, paternal grandparents, Bob and Novella McCullough, and maternal grandparents, Brun and Dona Pogue.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012, 2:00 PM, at Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem, Arkansas, with Bro. Mike Yates and Bro. John Hodges officiating. Interment will be in the Salem Cemetery under the direction of Barker Funeral in Salem, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Tate Zeigler, Trent Zeigler, Warren McCullough, Brian Plumlee, Mike Innis and Bob Newman.
