Mary Jacqueline Mosier, 79, of Glencoe, Arkansas, was born on June 22, 1932, in Maude, Oklahoma, daughter of Archie Vernon and Mary Dialtha (Frazier) Williams. She departed this life on June 20, 2012, at her home.
Mary was united in marriage to Jim Self on June 17, 1949, at Gainesville, Texas, and to this union David, Michael and Belinda were born. She later married Claud D. Mosier on September 12, 1962, in Memphis, Tennessee, and out of this union have enjoyed the love of Charles, Judith, Lydia and Genei. She was a homemaker and a member of the Heart General Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing: three sons, Charles D. Mosier and wife Virginia of Cordalane, Idaho, David W. Self of Winnie, Texas, and Michael E. Self and wife Sandy of Saddle, Arkansas; three daughters, Judith I. Kimbrell and husband Mike of Buckeye, Arizona, Lydia D. Campbell and husband Randy of Heart, Arkansas, and M. Genei Stratton of Dardanelle, Arkansas; one brother, Vernon Williams of Saddle, Arkansas; twenty-three grandchildren, fifty great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jim Self and Claud Mosier, one daughter Belinda Mae Self, parents, two brothers, one sister and one grandson Randy Meeks.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012, 2:00 PM, at Morriston Cemetery in Morriston, Arkansas, with Bro. J. D. Hinton officiating. Interment will be in the Morriston Cemetery under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Scott Campbell, Chris Barnett, Jack Campbell, Chad Risner, Hunter Howell and Colton Latham. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Self, Tanner Howell, Nick Holloway, Bobby Williams, Marshall Armstead and Connor Barnett.
Visitation will be Friday, June 22, 6-8 PM, at the funeral home.
