Amber Gail Honey was born on July 27, 1982, in Salem, Arkansas, daughter of Tammy (Glisson) Burnett and Kenneth Honey. She departed this life on May 16, 2012, at Tulane Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the age of 29 years, 9 months and 19 days.
Amber worked as a sales clerk for O'Reilly Auto Parts Store. She was of the Baptist faith.
She leaves to mourn her passing: daughter, Katelyn Olivia Armah of Bossier City, Louisiana; parents, Tammy Burnett and Darren Smith of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Kenny and Tammy Honey of Agnos, Arkansas; one brother, Jonathan Burnett and wife Sheri of West Plains, Missouri; grandparents, Bob and Ebb Glisson of Glencoe, Arkansas, and Don and Juanita Honey of Highland, Arkansas; special step-father, Ralph Burnett of West Plains, Missouri; special friends, Jessica Bassham of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Jennifer Steward of Salem, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, 2:00 PM, at Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem, Arkansas, with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas, under the direction of Barker Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday May 22, 6-8 PM, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Andrew Ward, Logan Delargey, Lenny Hensley, Jesse Davidson, Jasper Collins, Waylon Owens and Donnie Dawson.
