John Edward Riewer

John Edward Riewer, 80, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, was born on March 10, 1932, in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, son of Benjamin Peter and Elizabeth Ann (Schmidt) Riewer. He departed this life on April 23, 2012, at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas. John spent his working years as an architect and he was of the Catholic faith. He leaves to mourn his passing: one son, Greg Robideau of El Cajon, California; one brother, Bernard “Rick” Riewer of West Lake Village, California; two sisters, Mary Ann Johnson of Cherry Valley, Illinois, and Helen Riewer of Dana Point, California; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers and sisters. No services are planned. Arrangements by Barker Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel in Horseshoe Bend.
