JoAnn Schatzman

JoAnn Schatzman, 85, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, was born on April 12, 1926, in Mishawaka, Indiana, daughter of Lester Samuel and Florence Burnette (Burnette) Taggart. She departed this life on March 10, 2012, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. JoAnn was united in marriage to Eckley Gaylor Gossett Schatzman on August 21, 1948, in Mishawaka, Indiana, and to this union, five sons were born. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. JoAnn was a member of the Forrest Hill Methodist Church at Violet Hill, Arkansas. She leaves to mourn her passing: five sons, Eckley Gaylor Gossett Schatzman, Jr. of Batavia, Illinois, Gregg Paul Schatzman of Henderson, Nevada, Randall Craig Schatzman of Redmond, Washington, Galen Page Schatzman of Centerville, Utah, and Drew Meredith Schatzman of Henderson, Nevada; one sister, Elizabeth Robertson of Wheaton, Illinois; five grandchildren, Galen Paul Schatzman, Joel Arthur Schatzman, Ellarie Suzanne Schatzman, Sheldon Tyler Schatzman and Maddison Schatzman; two great-granddaughters, Sophie and Demi Schatzman and many other relatives and friends.
