Myrle Cruse was born on October 9, 1928, in Tyronza, Arkansas, daughter of Earl Joseph and Mallie Mabel Myrtle (Henson) Daly. She departed this life on February 26, 2012, at her home in Gepp, Arkansas, at the age of 83 years, 4 months and 17 days.
Myrle was married to Billy Jack Cruse. She spent her working years as a factory worker, waitress and real estate broker. Myrle was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church. Her three daughters were born during an earlier marriage to Earl Copeland.
She leaves to mourn her passing: two daughters, Veronica Dark and husband Rick of Ames, Iowa, and Linda Sawyers and husband Donald of Germantown, Tennessee; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Wolfe of Saulsbury, Tennessee, and Myrtle Mae Brown and husband Max of Memphis, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Cederick Dark and wife Sheree, Lucynda Ivie and husband Aaron, and Sean F. Sawyers and wife Nikki and seven great-grandchildren; special friends, Sandra, Minnie and Sharon, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Betty Ann Copeland, parents, and brother Earl Wesley Daly.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, 11:00 PM, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas, with Reverand Sean F. Sawyers officiating. The body was cremated after the service under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
Memorials preferred to the Enterprise Baptist Church in Viola, Arkansas.
