Hobart Henry Van Buren, Sr.

Hobart Henry Van Buren, Sr., 80, of Salem, Arkansas, was born on March 7, 1931, in Stafford, New York, son of Henry Horace and Lucy (Calkins) Van Buren. He departed this life on February 9, 2012, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas. Hobart worked and owned a lawn care business and served his country in the United States Army. He leaves to mourn his passing: two sons, Hobart Van Buren, Jr. and his wife Audrey of Salem, Arkansas, and Robert Butler and wife Rose of Batavia, New York; two daughters, Deborah Lambert and husband James of Warsaw, New York, and Joyce Sayer of Erie, Pennsylvania; one brother, Delbert Van Buren and wife Sandy of Summerfield, Florida; eighteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters, Carol and Janet. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2012, 2:00 PM, at Riding on the Faith Cowboy Church in Salem, Arkansas, with Pastor Stuart Jones officiating.
