Acquilla Maillet

Acquilla Maillet was born on November 22, 1919, in New Brunswick, Canada, son of Magloire and Celina (Richard) Maillet. He departed this life on January 6, 2012, at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas, at the age of 92 years, 1 month and 15 days. Acquilla spent his working years as a steel worker for Johnson Steel. He served in the Canadian Army. He is survived by one son, Ray Maillet of Evening Shade, Arkansas, and two daughters, Dorine Gaard of Corona, California, and Elva Ruddy of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his wife Alida Maillet and parents. Funeral services will be held at Crestlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Riverside, California, under the direction of Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary at a later date.
