Donnie Paul Henry, 58, of Glencoe, Arkansas, was born on November 8, 1953, in Salem, Arkansas, son of Orgel Wayman and Theola Pearl (Hudgens) Henry. He departed this life on November 12, 2011, at his home.
Donnie was united in marriage to Maryllen Kay McWilliams on March 26, 1999, at Salem, Arkansas. He worked as a foreman for RLH Construction and Paving Company. Donnie was of the Assembly of God faith.
He leaves to mourn his passing: wife, Maryllen Henry of Glencoe; four sons, Chris Henry of Egypt, Arkansas, Buddy Nelson and wife Lauren of Salem, Robert Nelson and wife Tesa of Salem and Jeffrey Nelson and wife Samantha of Salem; four daughters, Sonya Henry of Salem, Shelley Henry of Mountain Home, Charlotte Thompson and husband Robert of Salem and Mary Welch and husband Kenny of Salem; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, 2:00 PM, at the Salem Assembly of God in Salem, Arkansas, with Brother Kenn DeShane officiating. Interment was in the Salem Cemetery under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem. Pallbearers were Travis Barnett, Jeff Gaskins, Joey Gaskins, Tyler Foster, Eric Payne and Rusty Hurtt. Honorary pallbearers were Dillon Kirkpatrick, Shannon Kirkpatrick and Jimmy Simmons.
