Elizabeth Helen Brunner, 74, of Melbourne, Arkansas, was born on February 6, 1937, in McGrath, Minnesota, daughter of Lester Nicholas and Dorothy Cecilia (Forcier) Haas. She departed this life on October 18, 2011, at her home.
Elizabeth was united in marriage to Francis John Brunner, Jr. on May 12, 1972, at Hernando, Mississippi. She was the owner of Brunner Printing in Batesville, Arkansas. Elizabeth was a member of the St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
She leaves to mourn her passing: husband, John Brunner, Jr. of Melbourne, Arkansas; two sons, John Brunner, III and wife Angel of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, and Mark Blake of Oxford, Mississippi; one daughter Vicki Mars and husband Stan of Mt. Pleasant, Arkansas; four brothers, Jim Haas and wife Diana of Paris, Tennessee, Mike Haas and wife Martha Jo of Oceanside, California, Bobby Haas and wife Nancy of Millbrook, Alabama, and Johnny Haas of Minneapolis, Minnesota; one sister, Marie Flannigan of Finlayson, Minnesota; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Randy Brown and one sister Carol Hass.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2011, 11:00 AM, at St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, with Father Linus officiating. Interment will be in the Reeves Pine Grove Cemetery at Melbourne, Arkansas, under the direction of Barker Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Dusty Goff, J. W. Daigle, Chris Flannigan, Jim Haas, Mark Blake and Justin Daigle. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Haas, Stan Mars, Todd Wilson and Aron Owens.
