Lou Ann Langle

Lou Ann (McKnight) Langle, 56, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, was born on October 1, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of James Elam and Beatrice Louise (Richardson) McKnight. She departed this life on October 6, 2011, at her home. Lou Ann was united in marriage to James Edward Langle on June 10, 1984, at Hardy, Arkansas. She was a long time employee of KSAR radio station as a news and program director and before that was an insurance agent. She was a member of the Spring River Baptist Church at Hardy, Arkansas. She leaves to mourn her passing: husband, James Edward Langle of Ash Flat; one son, Mark Langle of Ash Flat; father, James McKnight of Ash Flat; one brother, Harmon McKnight and wife Jean of Holden, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and sister Eva Jo McKnight. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2011, 3:00 PM, at Spring River Baptist Church in Hardy, Arkansas, with Bro. Floyd Rikard officiating. Interment will be in the Bronaugh Cemetery at Hardy, Arkansas, under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Visitation will be at the church, 2:00-3:00 PM.
